Hi, I’m Charlotte and welcome to my website!

A little bit about me: I’m a disability and mental health advocate, based in the UK. I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) which caused severe digestive complications, leading to my stoma operation in June 2018. Since then, my joints have also worsened so I use a mobility aid to help ease the pain – particularly with my hips and ankles! I’ve also experienced depression, anxiety and anorexia, which is why I am an ambassador for Beat (the UK’s eating disorder charity).

I work at Diversity and Ability as an Accessibility and Inclusion Specialist, doing training and consultations for different organisations on how they can be more inclusive. For more information on Diversity and Ability, and their services, go to their website to find out more. I also work as a Content Creator and Speaker. If you would like to work with me, please visit my Contact Page.

Wanting to connect with others who are going through, or have gone through, similar experiences to myself, I created this website along with my Instagram; and I love breaking stigmas and taboos! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me to ask something – I’d love to help you if I can and I hope you find this website useful. There’s also a list of mental health charities and crisis numbers in the menu.
